The most ergonomic office chairs for comfortable working

January 9, 2024

A key element in an employee’s productivity is a well-equipped office, complete with a competent team, and quality office furniture, specifically a good office chair. Saxen offers a variety of office chairs, featuring modern designs, bold colours, and cutting-edge technology. However, not all chairs meet the necessary requirements to be considered truly ergonomic.

A true ergonomic chair is defined by the adjustability of the features to suit most body types. These features include adjustable seat height, seat depth, armrests, back height, lumbar support, among others.

Here at Saxen, we have tested out numerous chairs, before narrowing it down to the five best ergonomic office chairs for comfortable working. Get ready to transform the way you take a seat.

What is an ergonomic office chair?

A truly ergonomic task chair supports various body types comfortably and effectively. Each individual can personalise the chair's features to suit their body contours, height, and weight. The chair should support posture, comfort, and well-being while you relax into focus mode.

An ergonomic office chair should have customisable settings for seat and back height, lumbar support, and armrests to distribute weight properly. This reduces tension and muscle strain, improving your level of comfort, breathing, and even digestion. Investing in ergonomic chairs for your office can not only promote the well-being of employees but also enhance their productivity levels.

The five best ergonomic office chairs.

Saxen is a commercial workspace specialist company that focuses on the best office furniture for productivity, comfort, and aesthetics. After testing all these chairs ourselves, we have rounded up our five favourite ergonomic office chairs. If you’re interested in seeing any of these in your own workspace, call us at 01560 329 916, and we can arrange a consultation.
