Scotbeef
Saxen had the pleasure of collaborating with Scotbeef in East Kilbride, a company rooted in Scottish heritage since its establishment in 1888.
Scotbeef sought support for their newly revamped cafeteria, a project in partnership with WNP Architects. They turned to Saxen to curate furniture selections and layout solutions aimed at crafting a welcoming, contemporary space. The goal was to offer diverse settings for their valued employees, catering to various needs—from fully subsidised meals to casual snacks and coffee breaks. Additionally, they required a versatile layout that could transform the space into a collaborative area for the operational team when the cafeteria wasn’t in use.
The proposed solutions included a diverse range of dining options and soft furnishings, ensuring flexibility for one-on-one meetings and private conversations. Implementing Autex acoustic ceiling-hung screens facilitated zoning, while the incorporation of soft seating provided discreet spaces for individual or small group gatherings.
The resulting ambiance boasts a serene colour scheme and contemporary, easy-to-maintain finishes, culminating in a space to which we're proud to have contributed.
